Hunts Paper & Pixels
Timon Colegrove joined Hunts in 1982 - an age when the Financial Times and Guardian newspapers were still printed using letterpress; it's a challenge to recall when business life was pre-mobile, pre-computerisation, pre-Internet and pre-digital. For over three decades he has steered Hunts through immense change in print and now is engaging with the renaissance of print: Marketeers realise that print cuts through the noise of the Internet and the saturated world of e-marketing, web advertising and social networking. A piece of print cannot be surfed away from or switched off and often leads to the digital experience and an on-line purchase.
"Fifty Shades of Print - a tale of digital seduction" will provide insight into the marketing octopus of using multiple channels to engage your clients and prospects, together with some enlightening facts showing the advantages of "hard-copy" and it's true sustainability. Timon will share some of the latest Image Recognition and Augmented Reality technologies that are now available for smaller brands and organisations to engage their market.
Timon is Chairman of the Institute of Directors Oxfordshire, a fellow of the British Printing Industries Federation and holds the position of The Standard Bearer for his company Hunts (www.hunts.co.uk). Still a gigging musician, he plays guitar in "The Stanzas" a party grooving covers band.
